Charmaine Thompson
Vice President, Project Management (PP&I Team)

In the role of Vice President, Project Management, Charmaine Thompson manages relationships with experts and consultants that are engaged during the development and build phases of SkyPower’s projects. Supported by an internal team of engineers, environmental specialists, scientists, and project management experts, Charmaine oversees all phases of project management, including wind measurement and analysis, environmental assessments, preliminary engineering, transportation logistics, and final constructions plans.

Charmaine has over 14 years of leadership experience within the Customer Service and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industries. Prior to joining SkyPower, Charmaine held positions with the executive team of American Express Bank of Canada, where she was responsible for in-sourced operations and leadership development. Charmaine’s experience also includes six years in senior leadership roles with leading global BPO firms - Andersen Consulting, Teletech and Webhelp Inc. In these organizations, Charmaine managed projects through discovery, procurement and delivery phases. In particular, she has successfully launched international contact centers in Canada and India.
