Sun Edison LLC (United States)

In November 2006, SkyPower entered into a joint venture agreement with SunEdison LLC, North America's leading solar energy service provider, to develop, build, own and operate solar photovoltaic farms across Ontario. To date, the joint venture partners have secured 88 MW of solar projects in Ontario. Already common in Europe, solar photovoltaic farms have recently experienced broader adoption in North America. SunEdison LLC is the only company to simplify solar by providing turn-key solar energy services for utilities, government agencies, and commercial enterprises. Under the turn-key services model, SunEdison finances, installs, owns and operates photovoltaic power plants at the customer premise. SunEdison's turn-key services model has been adopted by leading commercial, government and utility customers such as Staples, the State of California and Xcel Energy. Panama Green Energy Inc. (Panama)

In January 2008, SkyPower entered into a joint venture with Panama Green Energy Inc., to develop hydro-electric projects in Panama. Panama Green Energy is a corporate entity focused on developing renewable energy projects in Panama and across Latin America. The company is involved in all areas of project development, including finance, site design, engineering, and construction. The joint venture’s flagship project is an 85 MW run-of-river hydro-electric project in the central region of Panama.
Pekon Electronics Ltd (India)

In June 2006, SkyPower entered into a comprehensive joint venture with Pekon Electronics Ltd., to develop large scale wind farms in India. Pekon is a diversified corporate entity with interested in Infrastructure Development, manufacturing and exports across India. The joint venture intends to develop in excess of 1000 MW of wind super parks over the next two years across India and is currently proposing to several State Governments for allotment of land at suitable sites. Power4 India (Wind Projects) Private Limited

Power4 has partnered with SkyPower Corp. to build large scale IPP’s in India. The projects aim to leverage Power4 and SkyPower’s entrepreneurship, extensive management capabilities and knowledge in building and managing large projects and draw on relationships with leading international suppliers and financial institutions to build world-class parks in India.
The projects intend to bring about a radical shift in the way wind farm development is pursued in India with world class site screening & evaluation process, an innovative participative SPV-JV business structure, Project Financing from the North American & European financial institutions, and state of the art multi MW-series turbines.
The objective is to develop up to 1500 MW of Wind Super Parks over the next five years across India.
