Romita Shetty is a Managing Director at Lehman Brothers in New York and runs the firm Global Special Opportunities group. The group focuses on making principal investments for the firm in a variety of sectors and across the entire capital structure.

Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, Romita co-ran structured credit markets at RBS Greenwich Capital from 2004 through 2006. Before that Romita worked at JP Morgan Securities from 1997-2004 where she held a number of position including Global Head of Structured Credit and Alternative Investment products. She started her career at Standard and Poor’s where she worked from 1990-1997 where she ran their ABCP and commercial ABS rating businesses.

Romita has an MIA (Master of International Affairs) from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University and a B.A. (Honours) in History from St. Stephens College in Delhi.
