Welcome to the Fermeuse Wind Power Project The Fermeuse Wind Power Project is SkyPower’s first constructed and operated wind project. Commissioned in 2009, the Project is a generating facility with a contract capacity of 27 megawatts (MW) and enough electricity for approximately 7,500 households. SkyPower is the leading independent renewable energy developer in Canada, and possesses proven expertise in developing, building and managing large-scale wind and solar power projects. SkyPower has developed a national footprint, with interests in over 200 renewable energy projects at various stages of development across Canada and in select US states, representing over 11,000 megawatts (MW) of potential energy. Recently, SkyPower has expanded its reach into the international energy market and is helping countries meet their surging power demands through renewable energy solutions.
